Keys
If you are expecting to have something delivered, and cannot be home at the time, you may leave and extra key at the Administration Office at 2405 Dorchester, for the delivery person to pick up. We cannot sign for deliveries or escort a delivery person into an apartment.
When additional keys are needed, we can make them at the Administration Office at a charge of $5.00 per key.
It is also important for you to know that, for you own protection, NO ONE will be issues a key to your apartment unless that person is authorized by you to have a key. This authorization must be in writing and signed.
What to do if you are locked out?
If possible, come to the Administration Office at 2405 Dorchester to obtain a key. Of course, you will be asked for identification.
If it is not possible to come to the Administration Office, our Maintenance Department can be called, and a maintenance man will be dispatched to let you into your apartment. The Maintenance phone number is 643-6663. Please do not come to the Leasing Office.
If you are locked out between 5:00 pm and 8:00 am or on the weekend, an Emergency Maintenance man can be dispatched to aid you. You may call (248) 524-8540 to reach Emergency Maintenance. Another alternative would be to contact a locksmith, at your expense.
A $10.00 FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR LOCKOUTS DURING OFFICE HOURS. THE FEE IS $65.00 AFTER 4:30 PM, AND WEEKENDS.
Somerset Newsletter
Our Semi-annual newsletter is called The Somerset Scene. For your convenience, the Somerset Scene will be mailed directly to your apartment in the spring and fall. If you have suggestions for articles or a nomination of a “Resident in the News,” please contact the Administration Office at 643-6560.
